Shellac the Holidays

Is it possible that the holidays are already here again?  It seems as though summer was just yesterday yet daylight savings is next week.  Every year we prepare ourselves and say we'll do things differently.  Yet every year time gets swallowed up and the holidays are remembered as a blur.

Let Frederick's slow down the holiday blur with Shellac

Already feel like you have no extra time?  We'll multi task for you.  While you're here getting your holiday trim or touching up your root color we will Shellac your fingernails.  Simple as that, while you're already sitting here, we'll paint your nails as well.

The Shellac Holiday collection of colors will help you feel pretty and feel "holiday" all at once.

Shellac offers 14+ days of smudge proof and chip proof nails.  Not having to repaint your nails every week is a great way to save time during the holidays.

Your nails don't even have to be in perfect condition for Shellac to look great.  Let's face it, our nails hardly ever look like this  . . . . .

More often than not they look like this . . . . .

Nails are un-even, torn and peeling.

But Shellac looks great on any nails, no matter how well taken care of the nails are before we start.  Here is the after picture from the picture above . . . . .

The nails look great, will last for 2 weeks and you'll already be here getting beautified so why not?!?!?!?

Remove the rollers, brush out and pin up.  Tah-dah!
Aaaaaaand now we're ready for the car show.

Just a few moments of note . . . .

Calendars are just a mere $20 for 365 days of Frederick's Girls

Special consideration towards . . . . .

Haute Trash

Frederick's Beauty Salon was invited back for yet another Haute Trash show.  This time, the Space Needle is turning 50 years old.  The theme of this show was fashion future-foreward with a look backward.  Need to know more about the Space Needle's half century birthday?  Click here to listen to NPRs "All Things Considered" Back To The Future: Seattle's Space Needle Turns 50 by MARTIN KASTE

Our stylist did two nights of hair and make-up for this birthday fashion show.  Here's a peek into the finished product . . . . John Cornicello

Haute Trash Fashionistas will team up with others from across the country to present a stunning collection of couture designed entirely from society's rubbish. Expect the unexpected as our designers have some big ideas in mind. We will be examining the progression of fashion as well as society's use of disposable plastic and the rise of recycling - from 1962 until now. Then we will attempt to predict what we think may happen in the next 50.  Check out the trashy site http://www.trashfashionfutures.com/

As always, check out our Facebook Page to see more insider footage from our haute trash show.  Happy Birthday Space Needle . . . . . ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beehive for Bowling

Started with my hair a couple days dirty, began "ratting" section by section from the back all the way to the front (leaving out the bangs).  Once all the ratting is complete, you can shape your hair into virtually any voluminous style.  I chose a beehive for a bowling party at the Garage.
